Bardic Knowledge
Roll 1d20 + 4 to make this check about knowledge about local people, noteworthy locations, rumors and gossip, etc.

10 | Common, known by at least a substantial minority drinking; common legends of the local population. |
20 | Uncommon but available, known by only a few people legends. |
25 | Obscure, known by few, hard to come by. |
30 | Extremely obscure, known by very few, possibly forgotten by most who once knew it, possibly known only by those who don't understand the significance of the knowledge. |
Bardic Music
Once per day per level, a Bard can use his music to cast magical effects on those around him. They can be activated by singing, whistling, playing an instrument, etc.
Countersong
Counter magical effects produced by sound. Bard rolls 1d20+7 as saving throw against magical effect; friends may choose to use Bard's result as their defense. Works for up to 10 rounds.
Fascinate
Target one character. This spell cannot be cast during combat. All characters within 90 feet that are able to see and hear the bard, whom the bard is also able to see, can be targeted by this spell. While fascinated, a character takes a -4 penalty on reaction checks, such as Listen and Spot, for one turn.
* Roll 1d20+7 vs creature's Will defense.
Inspire Courage
All allies who can hear the bard sing, including himself, for 6 rounds, gain +1 defense against charm and fear, and +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls.
Spells
Bard can cast 2 spells per day.
Message
Whisper to someone and receive whispered replies, while within 100 feet of each other, for 10 minutes.
Daze
Humanoid character within 25 feet loses next turn.
Light
For 10 minutes, object glows like a torch.
Resistance
For 1 minute, gain +1 defense on saving throws.
